Daughter of John Cook and Lela Ann "Hopper" Cook Hammett. She married Harve Craghead at age 14 years. They had no children. Her family remembers her telling of the move to Indian Territory in a covered wagon in December of 1894. There was deep snow on the ground and at night the adults would stretch ropes between trees and hang quilts from them to help hold the warmth from the camp fire.
