Bertha Mae Dimmich, 93, died at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Cumberland Pointe Health Care in West Lafayette.
She was born March 19, 1917 in Essex, Mo. to the late Paul Dewitt Smith and Ollie McMullin Smith. She married Hervey Dimmich on Oct. 4, 1942 in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1997. A son, Dale Dimmich, and a daughter, Elaine Wilson, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Donald Dimmich of St. Louis; one sister, Norma Lynch of Boswell; grandchildren, Kathleen Dimmich of St. Louis and Scott Dimmich of Evansville and several nieces and nephews.
