Mrs. Louise Daws of Social Circle died May 13,1989 at Georgia Baptist Medical Center. She was 85.

Born Dec. 18, 1903, she was the daughter of the late William Alonzo and Rebecca Hester Armistead. She was a member of Social Circle First Baptist Church and the widow of William "Alvin" Daws.

Funeral services were held May 15, 1989 at Social Circle First Baptist Church with the Rev. W. C. Tribble officiating. Interment was in the Cox Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tommie Daws, Jim Daws, Dan Garner, Bryan Dyer, Connie Broun and Emery Lee Allen.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Garner of Social Circle; sons, Marcus Daws of Douglasville and E. Herbert Daws of Sandy Springs; sisters, Mrs. Modelle Smith of Covington, Mrs. Mary Autry of Rutledge, Mrs. Agnes Allen of Monticello, and Mrs. Helen Scott of Tampa, Fla; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
