Phyllis Johnson, 68, Peru, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010 in her residence.
She was born in Peru on Aug. 2, 1942 to Robert E. and Frances (Leedy) Conner. She was married to John Johnson in 1957, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1993.
Phyllis lived in Peru all of her life, and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She was employed with American Stationery for 24 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth (Ray) Harris, Ohio, and Bonita (Joe) Zehring, Bunker Hill; her sons, John M. Johnson, Peru, and Robert (Pam) Johnson, Peru; her brothers, Victor Conner, Florida, Bobbie Conner, Peru, Bert Conner, Marion, Ronald Conner, Idaho, and Larry Conner, Texas; and a sister, Rita (Robert) Doran, Peru. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Terry Johnson; and a daughter, Tanya Johnson.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third St., with Pastor Ray Harris officiating.
Burial will be in the Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
