Clarence Easterwood, 71, of Grafton, died at 4 am today at Elyria Memorial Hospital following a month's illness.
Born in Grafton he spent all his life in Grafton and vicinity. He was a member of the Belden Methodist church.
Surviving him are his wife, Julia; one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Smith of Grafton; four sons, Raymond and Louis of Grafton, Donald of Eaton Center and Clarence Jr. of Valley City; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Lena Haury of Cleveland and Miss Nellie Bannister of Alliance and a brother, Jay of Olmsted Falls.
