Mrs. Rosy KLINGAMAN died Sunday, June 16th at 4:00 a.m. in the Wenzel Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter LANDIS of Meyersdale and was born April 24, 1874. At the time of her death, she was aged 61 years, 1 month and 22 days. *[actual death certificate signed by husband Jacob, lists parents as - Joseph & Margaret (Fleegle) Landis]* She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. William ROGERS, of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Bruce FIKE, Mrs. William FIKE, Mrs. Peter BAER, Mrs. James BOYER, of Meyersdale; and Mrs. John HERWIG, of Friedens; also by two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd HOSTETLER of Meyersdale, Mrs. Isaac NEIMILLER of Berkleys Mills, and one brother, William LANDIS of Summit Township. Twenty-six grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
Mrs. KLINGAMAN was a devoted wife and mother and many years of happiness and well-being were the lot of Mr. and Mrs. Klingaman during their married life.
Funeral services were conducted in the Church of the Brethren on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. George L. Detwiler, pastor, followed by interment in Union Cemetery by Undertaker W. C. Price.
