He was the son of William Joseph and Ruby Anna (Raspberry) Harden. On June 16, 1930 he married Jewel Taylor who preceded him in death August 26, 1963. He then married Ruth Purvis on October 13, 1963 and she died July 7, 1982. On June 20, 1983 he married Lena Mooney and she survives.
He was a member of the Windfall Pentecostal Church and was retired from Continental Steel Corp., in Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his two wives, parents, a daughter; Peggy, and sisters; Irene, Beckey, and Marie.
