Mr. Cooper died Tuesday, January 17th at the St. Francis Medical Center after a long illness.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Pace Cooper, West Monroe, and two sons, Larry Cooper and Billy Cooper, both of West Monroe, and two daughters: Mrs. Carol Boudreau, Monroe, and Mrs. Kathy Magee, West Monroe, two brothers, Harold Cooper and Doyle Cooper, both of Columbia, a sister, Mrs. Ruby Grant, Columbia, and mother, Mrs. Rachel Wright Cooper, Columbia, and 8 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Richard Harrell, Jerry Cooper, James Grant, Garland Grant, Tony Vance, Louis Pace, Danny Lively and Larry Shaw.
