Margaret Cappo Dixon, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Galvez, passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at age 88.
Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Doval and Joy V. Dixon; brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Bena Cappo; grandchildren, Donna White and husband Nathan, John Dixon and wife Danielle, Dina Nunez and husband Dwayne, and Jason Dixon; great-grandchildren, Erin LaLonde and husband Corey, Ryan and Randi Ingram, Clint White, Sarah Williams and husband Michael, Daniel Dixon, Blair Gautreau, Blake Nunez, Jas and Bella Dixon; and great-great-grandchildren, Blaise LaLonde and Aiden Williams.
Preceded in death by her husband, Doval Dixon Sr.; parents, Frank and Mary Scardina Cappo; brothers, Russel, Harry and Dominick Cappo; sisters, Evelyn Moran and Marie Robertson; and a great-great-granddaughter, our little angel, Grace Margaret LaLonde.
Arrangements entrusted to Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales. Interment will be in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
