Virgil E. Barthelemy, 64, of Olney, died at his residence Tuesday, May 21, 1991 at 8:03 a.m.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 24 in the Chapel of Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, with Rev. L. K Hucker officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 p.m.
Mr. Barthelerny was born May 16, 1927 in Jasper County, the son of William T. and Opal (Jayne) Barthelemy. He married Evelyn M. Fulk on Mar. 19, 1948, and she survives.
Mr. Barthelemy was retired from the City of Olney where he worked at the Water Department and the City Park. He attended Olney Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to his wife, Evelyn, Mr. Barthelemy is survived by three sons, Virgil E. Barthelemy, Jr., and wife, Linda, Centralia; Richard L. Barthelemy and wife, Glenda, Noble; and Roy D. Barthelemy and wife, Tonya, Olney; two sisters, Dorothy Burgener, Olney and Betty Rexroat, Rome, Ill.; mother, Opal J. French, Olney and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Barthelemy was preceded in death by his father and one grandchild.
