Mr. Bobby Delong, Sr., 54, of Whitney died August 1, 2004, at his residence.
He was born September 30, 1949, in McMinnville, Tennessee, son of Richard Leon and Margie Edna Moore Delong.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Kay Delong; father, Richard Leon Delong; and twin sister, Betty Simmons.
He was a member of Fort Graham Baptist Church of Whitney.
Survivors include: his mother, Margie Delong of McMinnville, Tennessee; wife, Dorothy Evelyn Delong of Whitney; one son, Bobby Delong, Jr. and wife, Melissa, of Whitney; four daughters, Susie and Diane of Tennessee, Jackie of Red Oak and Jeanie of Whitney; two brothers, Richard Leon Delong, Jr. of Grand Prairie and Charles Delong of McMinnville, Tennessee; one sister, Sue Lawson of McMinnville, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 4, 2004, in McMinnville, Tennessee. Burial was at Long Cemetery in Spencer, Tennessee.
