RINCON - Alice Sapp Nease, 76, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Alice was born July 31, 1933 in Evans County to the late Frank Sapp and Lillie Stringer.
She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Valdee Nease, and daughter, Diane Nease Wiggins.
Survivors include her daughter, Glenda (Cary) Cavanah of Rincon; sons, Barry V. (Sybil) Nease of Rincon, Donnie L. (Debby) Nease of Guyton, and Dale R. Nease of Guyton; son-in-law, Dennie Wiggins of Guyton; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Sapp of Rincon and Perry Lee Sapp of Hardeeville, SC; sisters, Frankie Richardson of Blackville, SC and Lillian McDonald of Pooler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Bethesda United Methodist Church . Mrs. Nease will lie in state from 1:30 p.m.
Interment will be in the church cemetery .
Remembrances may be given to Odyssey Hospice Healthcare, 5105 Paulsen Street, Ste D-225, Savannah, GA 31405.
