Deborah Susan Kalka-Gray died Thursday, February 11, 2010 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota, at the age of 53.
Debbie was born on February 16, 1956 in Los Angeles, California, to parents, James O. and Susan (Lockard) Kalka.
She grew up and graduated high school in Bandera, Texas.
"Debbie would give everything she had to those she loved.
Having her as a part of our lives has been a blessing to us all."
She enjoyed researching family history and worked hard to put together two volumes: one for her son James, focusing on his father's family, and the other for her daughter Jennifer, focusing on the Kalkas.

Daughter: Jennifer Travis Skavhaug
Sisters: Cynthia Ann Holden
and Mary Carolyn Kalka
Grandchild: Emily Rose Miller
Nephew: Christopher Michael Moore
Great-Nephews: Cole, Joshua, and Zane Moore
Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Carol Kalka; brothers, James Oscar Kalka, Jr., and Christopher Kalka; and a sister, Kay Elizabeth Kalka.
Memorial Service: Friday, February 19, 2010, 10:30 A.M., at Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Memorial Service: Tuesday, February 23, 2010, 11:00 A.M., at St. Peters Catholic Church, Mineola, Texas.
