Willie Braggs Sr.- was born on September 21, 1927 and departed this life, surrounded by his loving family on February 21, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Braggs-Howard, Father, Eddie Howard; his first wife Odessa Braggs; sisters, Rosetta Dunning and Myrtis Braggs and great granddaughter, Nadia Patrice Heningburg. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Alma A. Braggs, two sons, Willie Braggs Jr. (Cedar Hill, TX), Lebaron Braggs (Mobile), one daughter, Patricia Braggs-Heningburg (San Antonio, TX). Grandchildren: Yvonne (Andre King) Lacy, MIchelle Green, Jamada Braggs, Christopher Cunningham, Tiffany (Cornel) Heningburg, 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 5-7pm at Gilmers Funeral Home. Arrangements by Gilmers Funeral Home.
