Born November 20,1924 in Fort Mill,Mrs.Adams was a daughter of the late William Fred Patterson and Mary Elizabeth Armstrong Patterson. She graduated from Queens College. Mrs. Adams was formerly employed at the Pinville Dinner Theater and was a member of Harrison United Methodist Church.
Surviving two sons,Jimmy Lewis Cantrell,Jr. and his wife,Pat,of Union and Fred Patterson Cantrell and his wife,Shelia,of Indian Land; four grandchildren, Christina, Kimberly, Fred, Jr., and Charlie, and great grandchildren, Harrison,Anna,Jake,Mia,Oliva,Shelby,and Nick.
She was preceded in death by her three sisters: Florence Louise Patterson Crowder, Mary Elizabeth Patterson Robinson, and Jane Burns Patterson Melton.
