Services for Darlene Thiessen Bright, 62, of Mustang were held March 11, 1993 in the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel in Mustang. Burial was in the Eakly Cemetery under the direction of Bill Merritt Funeral Service Inc.

Mrs. Bright was married to James Bright in Wheeler, Texas on May 8, 1948. They had resided in Mustang since 1960. She was a member of Evangel Tabernacle of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Laura Mary Jame Thiessen; three brothers, Bud, Ray and Rutt; two sisters, Ethel and May; and two sons, Jimmie and Carl Wayne.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Charlotte Gales of Edmond and Misty Bright, also of the home; two sons, Danny Bright and Rick Bright, both of Mustang; one brother, Roy Thiessen of Eakly; and three sisters, Arvella of Weatherford, Beulah Foreman of Hydro and Hazel Cope of Eakly.
