It is written on Francis's death certificate that his mother was Anna Francis. She hailed from Ulysses, Seneca, New York. I suspect Samuel and Anna were married there about 1809 and that is where Francis was born. I cannot locate a grave for Anna so am not sure how to correct this on FAG.
