MR. FRIEDRICH AHLBORN
Heinrich Justus Friedrich Ahlborn was born Jan. 6, 1851 in Eliahausen, near Gottinger, Germany. May 5, 1878 he married Maria Rohers. May 7, 1889 he and his family emigrated to America and has resided in Bensenville ever since. The last 27 years he has been employed by the railroad. The marriage was blessed with five children. One son preceded his father to eternity.
April 29 he was accidentally picked up by a thru train while performing his duty as flagman. He met instant death.
Deceased is mourned by his widow, 2 sons, Fred and Heinrich; 2 daughters, Meta and Anna; 2 sons-in-law, 2 daughters-in-law; 4 grandchildren; 1 sister and other relatives.
Mr. Ahlborn reached the age of 67 years, 3 months, 23 days.
Funeral services were held at Friedens church May 1, Rev. Wagner officiating. Interment at Friedens cemetery.
