An Old Timer Dead
One of Montana's pioneers died in Helena yesterday at the Wood's block on Broadway. He as Albert Axe, who came to Montana in 1866, locating in Jefferson county; and with a brother engaged in mining. During the rebellion he served in the Ninth Indiana regiment. Mr. Axe had been ill for several weeks.
The funeral services will be held in the parlors of the Woods block this afternoon by Elder Smith, of the Christian church.
