Homer C. Asbury was born February 28, 1908 in Degognia Township in Jackson County to Carl and Blanche Isom Asbury.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro.
Survivors include one uncle, Albert, of Chester; one aunt, Freda Ernsting, of Chester; and several cousins. Mr. Asbury died at the age of 74 in the Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro.
