Kamisha, 22 years old, was stabbed in the chest with a steak knife inside her apartment by her life long friend Kayla Henriques who is 18 years of age. An argument started on Facebook and through text messages about a $20 loan Kamisha lent to Kayla so Kayla could by Pampers for her 11 month old son. Kamisha stated Kayla spent the money on something else. After three days of arguing via Facebook and text messges Kayla went to Kamisha's apartment with a face to face confrontation that led to Kamisha being stabbed in her bedroom. Kamisha was brought to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. Kamisha graduated John Jay College in May with a degree in criminal justice. She worked as a security guard at JPMorgan Chase in Manhattan and planned to attend Brooklyn Law School. Kayla was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
