PINE RIDGE - Kenneth "Googs" Janis, 57, Pine Ridge, died Thursday, May 10, 2001, at Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour.
Survivors include two brothers, Oliver Janis, Rapid City, and Calvin Janis, Seattle; one sister, Doris Eagle, Pine Ridge; and many grandchildren.
One-night wake begins at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, with the Rev. Bill Pauly and the Rev. Steve Sanford officiating.
Burial will be at the Spotted Bear Family Cemetery in Denby.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
