1. 15 Feb 1757 Surry County VA: Benjamin Baird and wife Sarah sell to Walter Keeble JR - 150 acres between Blackwater and Otter Dam Swamp.
2. 3 Dec 1764 Benjamin Baird and wife Sarah of Lunenburg Co VA sell to James/Betty Thornton of Brunswick County, VA - 300 acres on north side of Blackwater Swamp.
3. 10 Apr 1765 Sarah Baird, wife of Benjamin, relinquished her right of dower to the property sold to James/Betty Thornton. (Mecklenburg Co was formed from Lunenberg Co in 1765).
On 31 Dec 1768 in Mecklenburg Co, VA Benjamin Baird disposed of 2 tracts of land which he had since coming to Lunenberg/Mecklenburg County. Since there was no relinquishment of dower, Sarah is probably dead by this date.
