He was born in Geneva, New York, July 31, 1918, to the late George W. and Dora Jackson Dahn. Mr. Dahn was retired from Genet Stone and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Cynthiana Elks Lodge #348, was a former Kiwanis Club member and a Kentucky Colonel. He was an honorably discharged Army Veteran of World War II.
Survivors inlcude his wife Lois Virginia Genet Dahn, one son, Daniel Robert Dahn, Lexington, Ky., one daughter, Debra Lee Sipe, Harrison County, Ky., one granddaughter, Renee Davidson, Colorado, five step-grandchildren, Amber Rainwater, Georgetown, Ky., Crystal Brown, Tenn., Melanie Caplen, N.Y., Hilary Bickel, Lexington, and William Brideford Bickel, III, Colorado.
Services will be conducted 1 P.M. Thursday, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, by Rev. Jimmy Owens. Friends may call after 11 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
