Thomas Mullen, 78, formerly of Walker, died Friday afternoon at the Elder Care Nursing Home, Ripley, after an extended illness.
He was born in Wirt County, son of the late Thomas Mullen and Rachel Miller Mullen Davis. He was a Protestant by faith.
He is survived by one brother, William Mullen of Corning, Ohio; one sister, Martha Nutter of Davisville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by six brothers.
Services were held Monday afternoon at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial was in the Fought Cemetery, Newark.
