Maggie Abel passes away. - Prominent Winchester woman claimed by death Sunday.
Mrs. Maggie Abel, 65, widow of the late Henry Abel, died Sunday morning at 2 o'clock at her home on West Franklin street in Winchester after a lingering illness.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Sue Ford of Zanesville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Herman and Robert; two sisters, Miss Kate Bechtel of Portland and Mrs. R. P. Jones of Los Angeles, Cal.; and two brothers, Henry Bechtel of Portland and Tony Bechtel of Galion, Ohio.
Mrs. Abel was a prominent member of the Methodist church and the Sunshine club.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Summers funeral home in Winchester in charge of Rev. Herbert Boase of Winchester and Rev. Barth of Union City. Burial will be made in Green Park cemetery at Portland.

Herbert Boase of Winchester and Rev. Barth of Union City. Interment will be in Green Park Cemetery in this city. Mrs. Abel, who died at her home in Winchester Sunday, was for many years a resident of Portland.
