A funeral for Mrs. Ruby N. Boyd, 45, of 600 Gallaway St., NW, will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Governors Drive Church of God with Rev. Eddie Williams and Rev. James Hindman officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd, lifelong resident of Madison County and a member of the Church of God, died at her home at 9:30 p.m. yesterday after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Boyd; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Hopping, Mrs. Joyce Edger and Mrs. Katherine White, all of Huntsville; two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Byrd and Mrs. Virginia Jones, both of Owens Cross Roads; three brothers, Albert L. Adams, Detroit; John Adams Jr., Opelika, and William Adams, National City, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Henry Fuss, Jim Morgan, Vernice Yell, Frank Hunter, Ed Edger and Orvice Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers include Dr. C.A. Grote, Sr., Dr. C.A. Grote Jr., Dr. Pat Hamm and Dr. Carl McCandlish.
