Ambie Roy, 74 of 3815 Pearl Ave. died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport, IA.

She retired in 1964 as a sander at Brammer Manufacturing Co., Davenport, IA.

Ambie Janes married Charles Roy in June 25, 1935 in Alton Mo. He died July 15,1979.

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Wednesday at Runge Mortuary.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

She was a member of Riverview Free Will Baptist Church, Bettendorf

Her hobbies included crocheting.

Survivors in clude sons, Charles L Davenport, Iowa B. J. Buffalo Iowa; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a step-grandchild; sisters Ann (Mrs. Grover) McKee and Velma (Mrs. Fred) Combs, both of Thayer; and brothers, Lawarence, Cleo and Lenard Janes, all of Thayer; Harrel Janes, St. Louis, MO., and Glen Janes, Davenport, IA.
