He was born Oct 7, 1914, the sun of the late Andrew B & Effie A Roberts.
Survivors are: the wife, daughter, and two grandchildren, all of Michigan City; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Bradley and Helen Avery, Moberly;Edna Becker, Edith Shatto, Maxine Evans, Kansas City area and Gertrude Kribs of Indiana; brothers Clarence & Herbert Roberts, Moberly; Thurman Roberts, Alburquerque, N.M. and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace and a brother, Eugene, who was killed in World War II.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at the Rutt Funeral Home at Michigan City with burial in Michigan City.
