He was born in Charleston, SC, on November 15, 1924, to the late Frederick H. Kornahrens and Hattie Horne Kornahrens.
Mr. Kornahrens was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed playing poker, fishing, working in his yard, and gardening.
He was a member of Hammerton Masonic Lodge # 332, and a member of Northbridge Baptist Church.
Jesse is survived by his wife: Martha Sutcliffe Kornahrens of Charleston; son: Keith Kornahrens (Erma) of Hanahan; daughters: Vicki E. Robinson (Neil) of Mt Pleasant, Ruthie Arnold of Ladson, and Linda Sachs (Howard) of Woodbridge, VA; grandchildren: Jesse, Wade, Lee, Erin, Trey, Matthew, and Taylor; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Entombment: Carolina Memorial Mausoleum.
