P. MACKEY SUMMONED AT OTTAWA, ILL.

Burial To Occur At Mackey Cemetery On Thursday Morning.

Philmore Mackey, resident of this city for many years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Mull at Ottawa, Ill., last evening, death being ascribed to the infirmaries of old age, coupled with complications. Mr. Mackey had been poorly for about a year, but was able to be about until two weeks ago, when he was forced to take to his bed, and where he remained until claimed by death yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Mr. Mackey was born at Paxton, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Mackey. When a young boy, he was brought to this vicinity by his parents, and they located on what is now the W. B. Meils farm home, north of Streator on the Bloomington road. The date of his birth was June 27, 1850.

He was united in marriage with Miss Margaret Crum at Paxton in 1871? and to this union two children were born, Mrs. Mabel Mull and Lee Mackey, the latter of whom resides at Butternut, Wis. His wife preceded him to death about fifteen years ago. There are two grandsons, three granddaughters and six great grandchildren.

Mr. Mackey lived in Streator the greater apart of his life, leaving here in 1894 for Chicago, where he was employed in various lines of work. About seven years ago he retired from active labor, and went to Ottawa where he has since made his home with his daughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mull at 919 Pine street, Ottawa on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock and interment will take place in the Mackey cemetery, north of Streator. It is expected the funeral procession will arrive here about 11:15 o'clock.
