Second wife of Enoch B. Abell married in Dubois County on 9 Nov 1886. Marriage Henrietta Gullet to Enoch B. Abell, November 9, 1886 Book 4 Page 448

Licensed issued to Etta Gullet and George B. Jacobs on July 18, 1885 but not returned. Book 4 Page 336
Etta was pregnant at the time with baby Anna Quinn Gullett.

Henrietta's maiden name was Gullet and not Ott. She is found on the 1880 census in Dubois County living in the household of Louis M. and Louis' first wife Nancy J. Ott, as "adopted." Etta is 15 years old and Louis is 27, Nancy is 25.
Living next door is John Ott age 60 and Rachel Ott age 62.

The 1870 census shows her living in Dubois County as "Henry" Gullett living with John and Rachel Ott and she is 5 years old. John is 50 and Rachel is 47.

Her two marriage licenses and attestation both state her last name is Gullet/Gullett.

In early 1885 Henrietta had a conjugal relationship with John Quinn which resulted in the birth of a daughter Anna Arvilla Gullett in November 1885. Anna was born out of wedlock and was raised by Henrietta's husband Enoch. Anna was never adopted and used the names of Gullett, Quinn and Abell. She was married to Henry Lewis Chanley under the maiden name of Gullett.

The death certificate states Etta was the daughter of John Ott born in Pennsylvania which may be incorrect.
