Linda was born May 21, 1947 in Laurens, IA the daughter of Melvin and Ila Jean (Ackland) Kilbourn.
Graduated from Laurens Community High School in 1965 and married Wesley Etheridge April 17, 1965. They lived in Cedar Rapids from 1983 to 1987 and later Seattle WA and Las Vegar NV before returning to Cedar Rapids. Linda worked for hunter-Douglas Co for 10 years before retiring in 2000.
Linda was a voracious reader and enjoyed fishing and camping.
She is survived by her husband, Wes,children, Patricia (Ed) edmonds, Laurie Etheridge, Sean (Megan) Etheridge all of Cedar Rapids, Dristi (Jason) Perfect of Webster City IA, grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda and Nathan Cain, Edward and Jermy Edmonds, Jeffrey Porter, Kyla and Noah Perfect, Josepth and Elizabeth Etheridge. Parents Melvin and Loura Kilbourn of Ostrander MN, sisters Patricia (Steven) Moe of St. Michael MN, Lynette (jerry) Bossart of Fort Dodge IA
