Rites Sunday For Mrs. Wilton W. Moore, 90
Mrs. Wilton W. Moore, 90, came back to Center Point Sunday for her last long sleep, and the rites for her were at the Christian Church here with Rev. Powell Smith officiating. The services were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
A native of Rosedale, Mississippi, she came to Center Point with her parents in 1891. She was the former Pearl Mitchell and members of her family had come to Kerr County in the 1850s. She was married to Wilton W. Moore who died in 1949. She lived in Center Point until she went to San Antonio to be near her only daughter, Mrs. Charles Kasper and her family. She went to Memphis, Tennessee, about a year ago to stay with her son, W.W. Moore, and her death occurred there last Friday. She had been a member of the Christian Church of Center Point for almost 60 years.
Her survivors are her son and daughter, two brothers, Paul and Noah Mitchell of Mississippi and one grandchild.
