Funeral for Arnt M. Andersen, 85, Oswego, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday from Pegg & Paxson Beaverton Mortuary. Vault interment will be in Crescent Grove Cemetery. Mr. Anderson was born April 21, 1876, in Sarpsborg, Norway, and moved to Euclaire, Wis., in 1901. He moved to Portland in 1924, and was affiliated with the Glad Tiding Mission which later was organized as the Nazarene Church in St. Johns. He retired from the ministry shortly afterward and was connected with the Oregon Grocerteria Co. for many years. Survivors include sons, Allen L., Garden Home, and Gordon A., Portland; daughters, Mrs. Ruth Moy, Indiana, Mrs. Harriet E. Rochak, Garden Home, Mrs. Ethel W. Leskela, Aloha, Mrs. Lilly V. Stark and Mrs. Alpha M. Hauptman, Beaverton; brothers, Arthur, Downey, Calif., and sister, Mrs. Lyid Olsen, Chicago; and 14 grandchildren. (The Oregonian, 28 Feb 1962)
