She married Edward.W. Davenport on June of 1877.
The couple moved to Breckenridge on 28 September 1878 and spent the rest of their life here. She was a faithful member of the Breckenridge Methodist Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. Davenport formerly owned "The Breckenridge Democrat" newspaper. The newspaper changed hands in 1923 and the new owners changed the name of the paper to "The Breckenridge American".
Survived by four children: Miss Merlin Davenport and H.C. Davenport, both of Breckenridge; D.S. Davenport and E.D. Davenport, both of Fort Worth.
Funeral services were held in the First Methodist Church with Rev. D.K. Potter officiating.
