DOERNBACH, ANN K. (ANTONIA D'AGOSTINO) 88 - passed away on March 9, 2011 at Sunrise of Galloway. She was born in Hammonton on February 7, 1923. Ann lived in S. Egg Harbor most of her adult life.

She met Walter E. Doernbach while roller skating in Mays Landing. They married on May 19, 1946. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 1996. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Ann loved music and enjoyed singing and playing the keyboard and organ. She was a talented seamstress, good cook and loved to work in her garden. Ann instilled her love of music, sewing, cooking, and gardening in her children and grandchildren. Her family was the world to her as she was to them.

Ann is predeceased by her loving husband, Walter E. Doernbach, Sr. and her brothers, Matthew and Samuel D'Agostino.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Ann (Albert) Schmid of Marmora, Priscilla (Jeff) Spickler of Phoenix, AZ, Darlene (David) Hagel of Mullica Twp.; her son, Walter (Marni) of S. Egg Harbor; her grandchildren, Jason Maddox, Katie Schmid, Tiffany (Jon) Porto, Tara Doernbach, Walter Doernbach III, David Hagel Jr., Danielle Hagel; her step-grandchildren, Jim Spickler, Jane (Ed) Bertino, and Quentin Paladino; her great-grandchildren, Jolyon and Javien Porto, Billy Graham, and Lilliana Bertino; her brothers, John (Catherine) D'Agostino of Hammonton and Frank (Cindy) D'Agostino of Maryland; as well as her extended family and friends including those who loved and cared for her at Sunrise and Lighthouse Hospice.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, 312 Philadelphia Avenue from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The service will begin at 11:00 AM. Entombment will immediately follow at Egg Harbor City Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wimberg Funeral Home 400 Liverpool Avenue Egg Harbor City 609-965-0357.
