Joseph Ourada Sr., 83 of Lucan died Tuesday at the Tracy hospital. Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Victory Catholic church at Lucan with Rev. Leo Goblirsch celebrant.
Pallbearers will be Frank and Sylvester Zitzman, Frank and Edward Ourada, and Robert and Raymond Janachovsky. Interment will be in the church cemetery with Sunset funeral home of Echo in charge.
Mr. Ourada was born January 1, 1884 at Veseli, a son of John and Anna Ourada. He came with his parents to the Lucan area when he was a child. His marriage to Victoria Kedrowski took place at Lucan June 30, 1914, and they farmed in the Lucan area since.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Sylvester, Norman, Joseph Jr., and Vincent, at home, and Clarence, Eden Valley; daughter Mrs. Anthony (Delores) Guetter, Wabasso; three grandchildren; brothers, James of Alexandria and Michael and Charles Boise, Idaho; and sisters, Mrs. Rose Zitzman, Morton, Mrs. Annie Dobias, San Bernardino, Calif., and Mrs. Kate Dobias, Oakland, Ore.
