BROGDON, MRS. ADA L. - age 92, of Martin Road, Eureka Community, Rockwood, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2001, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Hospital, Knoxville. She has been a member of the Eureka Baptist Church for 80 years. Preceded in death by parents, Richard and Ida Latham Haun; husband, Rufe Brogdon; son, Alven Brogdon; sisters, Nellie Haun, Helen Franks, and Ella May Johnson; brothers, Marshall and Howard Haun. Survived by daughter, Mary Jane Thomas and husband, Allen O. of Rockwood; grandchildren, Allen Thomas and wife, Lisa, Jeff Thomas and wife, Vickie, Carmon Keisman, Connie Howell, Rhonda White and husband, Mike and Buddy Keisman; eight great-grandchildren, Daniel, Joshua, Jacob, Paul, Holley, Wayne, Bartlee and Kaylee; daughter in law, Margaret Brogdon, Rockwood; brothers, Pat Haun and wife, Margie of Rockwood, and Tom Haun of Ocean City, Maryland. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 8 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Mike Winters officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery . The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Evans Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Eureka Baptist Church Building Fund. Evans Mortuary, of Rockwood, is serving the family of Mrs. Ada L. Brogdon.
