---Albert F. Brokaw, age 91, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Sunday morning (February 24, 1991) in the Kirksville Manor Care Center.
---The son of Henry R. and Cynthia Edwards Brokaw, he was born September 16, 1899, in Geneseo, Illinois. In 1919, he married Pauline Harrison, who preceded him in death. On October 30, 1937, in Queen City, Missouri he married Eunice Beatrice Gardner, who preceded him in death on July 17, 1977.
---He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Jean Brokaw; three brothers, Fred, Edward, and Harold Brokaw; and two grandchildren, Kenneth Rae Hoskins and Vickie Lynn Brokaw.
---Surviving are four sons, Leonard Brokaw of LaPlata, Missouri, Dale Brokaw of Peoria, Illinois, Charles Brokaw and Oren Brokaw, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Rachel) Hoskins of Kirksville, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
---Mr. Brokaw moved to LaPlata, Missouri in 1903, where he attended the Banner School and was engaged in farming east of LaPlata, Missouri. For the past three years, he had made his home in Kirksville, Missouri. He was a member of the LaPlata Methodist Church.
---Graveside services will be held at three o'clock Tuesday afternoon (February 26, 1991) in the LaPlata Cemetery with Rev. Archie Cooper officiating.
---Friends may call from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. today (Monday, February 25, 1991) at the Travis Funeral Chapel, LaPlata.
---The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
