Uncle Floyd was married to my aunt Ramona Hall. He had a son, Floyd, from a previous marriage. He worked for a number of years at the KanoTex Refinery in Arkansas City, KS at the same time as my Grampa Frank Brown. Floyd later moved in the South Haven area where he farmed for a number of years. He was a heavy smoker and drinker until he "got religion" joining the South Haven Christian Church and became involved in church work. I believe that he married Zereta Wells from Ark City after Ramona died. He was a hard worker and neat guy. I recall one time he took my little cousin to the field to check on the workers and upon return she was asked how they were doing, to which she replied, "Oh, allright if the sonsabitches would get the lead out" Wonder where she got that?
