Mr Harmon had suffered from diabetes for the past 14 years and his health had been declining for the last three years.
He received his education in the Pleasant Twp schools, later taking up farming - occupation which he had since then followed.
He was a member of the Honey Creek Church and the Masonic Lodge at Greenwood. He had lived at his present home 22 years.
He died at age 62 years 11 months 21 days.
