Actor. He held a B.A. and Masters degrees in English from Fordham, Columbia and Catholic Universities in New York. He spent his early years teaching drama and speech at Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx, New York. After serving in the US Army 7th Armored Division as a Captain, he returned to teaching and made occasional forays on Broadway in the late 1940s. By the mid 1950s, he became full time actor and went on to appear in over a hundred television shows and motion pictures in the next two decades. His film credits include "Love In the Afternoon" (1957), "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (1961), "Marriage On the Rocks" (1965), "Midnight Cowboy" (1969) and "Mame" (1974). For television, he appeared on "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "The Twilight Zone", "The Lucy Show" and "The Patty Duke Show".
