Margaret and Samuel had 9 children (4 sons and 5 daughters): Thomas (b. 1783), Jane (b. 1785), Samuel (b. 1787), William (1789-1868), Fanney (b. 1791), Hannah (b. 1793), Charlotte (b. 1795), Elfred (b. 1798), and Mary (b. 1801).
