Obituary: LOUIS M. STROUT

BECKET - Louis M. Strout, 45, of County Road died yesterday at home.

Born in Wallingford, Conn., he lived in the town most of his life. He was employed by the Connors Construction Co., and was a member of the Federated Church here.

He was the son of Fred and Bernice Brown Strout.

Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, the former Esther Ward; eight daughters, Mrs. William Hauser and Mrs. Joel Sakaske, both of Westfield, Constance, Lynn, Lori, Joanne, Carol and Susan all at home; two sons, Michael and Louis Jr., also at home; three brothers, Freddie A. of Pittsfield, Charles W. of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Malcolm I. Strout of Huntington; five sisters, Mrs. Phylliss Richmond of Plainfield, Conn., Mrs. Barbara Winn, of Middlefield, Mrs. Lorraine Broadhurst of Dalton and Mrs. Daphne Hulse and Mrs. Stella Romano, both of Becket.

Funeral services will be tomorrow at 10 from the Dery-Foley Funeral Home in Dalton with burial in the North Becket Cemetery.

Calling hours will be today from 7 to 9 p.m.
