Died - At her home, four miles northeast of LaHarpe, Thursday evening Oct 4, 1888, of heart disease. Mrs. MARGARET MOORE, aged 60, 1 month and 10 days.
The lady's maiden name was Cameron. She was born in Harrison County, Ohio Aug 28th, 1828 and married to Mr. Christopher Moore, who survives her, May 12, 1849. They came to LaHarpe vicinity in 1851. Ten children were born to them, one dead. Three boys and six girls, all of whom were present at the burial, together with the husband, all in deepest sorrow at the loss of an affectionate wife and mother. She was a kind neighbor and friend.
The burial occurred Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the Wesley Chapel graveyard. the funeral sermon will be preached by Rev. McLeish at the Wesley Chapel, Sunday Oct 21st. the hour is not stated.
