George E. Schriner age 88, passed away November 20, 1988 at the Franklin Nursing Center.
He was born June 3, 1900 in Pleasant Dale, Nebraska. George was the son of Charles and Mary Tigen Schriner. He attended school in Pleasant Dale.
George was a retired painter, residing in California for many years. He returned to Riverton where he had resided the last 10 years.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Julia, his parents, one brother and one sister.
Left to cherish his memory are tow step sons, Don Boise of Cerritos, California and Lee Boise of Whittier, California three brothers, Earl Schriner of Ulysses, Nebraska, Edgar Schriner of Omaha, Nebraska and John L. Schriner of Riverton and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 23, 1988 at 1; 30p.m. at the Hutchins Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Roster officiating. Music was provided by Hilda Mucklow, organist and Bonnie Moore, soloist.
Casket bearers were Jack Schmidt, Terry Jakubowski, Regene Eckhardt, Gary Blue, John L. Schriner and Terry Schuler.
Interment was in the Riverton Cemetery at Riverton, Nebraska.
