A. N. Giebel Of Dotyville Dies At 71
Anton N. Goebel, 71, of Dotyville, died Tuesday evening at his home. He was born Nov. 4, 1897 at Dotyville, a son of Aloysius and Gertrude Bast Goebel. He married Odella Engel on Sept. 14, 1920, at St. Michael's Church, Dotyville. Mr. Goebel was a retired farmer and sold insurance. He was affiliated with Mount Calvary, Ashford and Oakfield Fire Insurance Companies for 32 years. At the time of his death, he was a director of the Ashford and Mount Calvary companies. He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Dotyville. Surviving are his widow; four sons, John, Anthony and James, all of Dotyville and Eugene of Johnsburg; six daughters, Mrs. Jerry Blatz of Dotyville, Mrs. Stanley Johanski of Appleton, Mrs. Thomas Flood Sr., of Eden, Mrs. Thomas Scannell of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Herbert Dietzen of Prospect Heights, Ill., and Mrs. Edward Braatz of Eden; 48 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Goebel of Fond du Lac; and one sister, Mrs. Ambrose Flood of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, Dotyville. The Rev. Joseph Sipek will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Anton N. Goebel, who died Tuesday, were held at 10:30 a.m. today at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. from St. Michael's Church, Dotyville.
The Rev. Joseph Sipek officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Goebel, Donald Goebel, Leonard Goebel, Harold Goebel, Allen Engel and Roger Engel, all nephews of the deceased.
