On Sept. 14, 1895, Amanda and Charles "Burt" Bauman were married. They lived in Risingsun and had four children. In addition to those linked below:
Chester Ernest Bauman, b. 1900
Vera Ethelyn Bauman Hill, b. 1905
As a widow, Amanda took boarders into her home.
At the end of her life, Amanda suffered from a fractured hip and spent her last months at Bowling Green Rest Home.
Funeral services were held at the Trinity EUB Church with Rev. C.M. Moorhead officiating.
