Sarah "Sally" (Odell) Fuller is the fourth of ten children born to the Revolutionary War Veteran Ensign Uriah and his bride Esther (Sheldon) Odel (aka Odell). Sally, who is recorded in the Sheldon Family Association Data Base as SFA # S6031, is descended though her mom Esther (Sheldon) Odel back to our original colonial progenitor John Sheldon (aka, John of Kings Towne, Rhode Island, SFA # S0013). Sarah is descended on her paternal side from original colonial progenitor Austin Odell (d. 1751 in New London County, CT, British Colonial America). The Odell and Sheldon Family hailed from England in the mid-1600s.
Sarah married the farmer Joseph Fuller in Schoharie County, NY in about 1805. Sarah & Joseph raised at least three children on their property in southwestern Schoharie County, very close to the Schoharie County/Delaware County line. The North Harpersfield Cemetery lies within a couple of miles from the farm property the couple owned.
